Shay Raviv is the composer/songwriter/producer behind Violet Vision, which he founded with Jonathan Dagan. Shay began his career with the album "First Sign of Communication" (2001), when he was signed to a three-album recording deal with BNE Records at the age of 17. At that time, BNE Records was the biggest producer of electronic music around. Their main acts were Infected Mushroom, Cosma, Space Cat and Violet Vision.
His first album won an award as one of the top 5 albums of the year in 2001 in Israel. This album made Shay a well-known name in the Israeli music scene and abroad. Since then, Shay's songs have appeared on 5 full-length albums and on 30 compilation albums released through numerous record labels around the world.
Shay puts on many hats when it comes to the music industry. He is a talented composer and has worked on film scores, in addition to working as a music supervisor for film and TV. He also continues to write and produce songs, working with bands in the studio.
